S@xiest ever Fashion Week looks – from duct tape bikinis to see-through tops and bondage

The catwalk is when designers let their creativity shine – and it’s also when they show off their raciest creations.

Recently the Black Tape Project turned heads at New York Fashion Week with its duct tape swimwear during a saucy catwalk show.

While some catwalk stars opted for plunging designs, others rocked swimsuits with racer-back necklines.

Of course, this isn’t the first runway show to turn heads.

At London Fashion Week in 2018, there was one designer who was the talk of the town thanks to their statement pieces.

Intentional clothing label VIN + OMI made a splash with their out-there clothing items.

One of the stand-out looks was centred on a metallic jacket, which a bare-chested model wore while strutting down the catwalk.

Another runway star was dressed in a sheer frock, which exposed her body beneath it, with a patterned jacket.

The following year, designer Mark Fast wowed audiences when he showcased his SS20 collection.

The designer is known for his signature pieces which “push the boundaries of modern knitwear technology.”

And push boundaries they did, with models baring all in crochet dresses, sheer tops and fishnet outfits.

At a previous show at Sydney Fashion Week, models walking for the brand I.AM.GIA faced serious wardrobe malfunctions.

Even though models were styled in puffer jackets and trench coats, they weren’t wearing much underneath.

Many left little to the imagination as they strutted their stuff in sheer outfits – but they did have tiny g-strings to protect their modesty.
