Dua Lipa accessorised her gown with sky-high patent leather boots.

She also revealed that she once answered a FaceTime from Elton John in a ʙικιɴι and cowboy hat.

Nobody does a little black dress quite like Dua Lipa — from barely there cutout numbers to sheer naked frocks. However, her latest LBD was more prim and polished than usual, but there was still an element of Sєxy.

On Thursday, the pop star appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to discuss her Future Nostalgia world tour and new Service95 newsletter in a flowy, asymmetric black halter dress adorned with ruffles and a large floral fixture at her neck. She paired the look with sky-high, patent leather stiletto boots, and kept her accessories minimal, opting for several dainty rings, small hoop earrings, and a singular diamond snake bangle. Her shiny black tresses were styled in bouncy curls, and glittery black shadow was swept across her eyelids.

The singer-songwriter spoke to Colbert about her collaboration with the great Sir Elton John, which resulted in the smash hit “Cold Heart.” Their first meeting, though, was a bit unconventional. Dua revealed that she answered Elton’s FaceTime in one of her tiny ʙικιɴιs and a cowboy hat.

“I was hanging out by the pool before going to do some writing, and all of a sudden my phone rings, and it’s a FaceTime from Elton and his husband, David — casual,” she joked.

“I feel like I manifested this, in a way,” she continued. “‘Rocket Man’ is my driving song, it’s my shower song, it’s my song I sing along to myself…When I got asked to sing that part, I was like, ‘OK, it was just meant to be.’”

Dua also made a surprise appearance during the iHeartRadio Podcast Awards on Thursday to announce the Podcast of the Year winner, as well as share some exciting podcasting news of her own — the star is launching a new show called “Dua Lipa: At Your Service.” The podcast, which premieres Feb. 11, 2022, will feature interviews from people like Elton John, Megan Thee Stallion, British Vogue editor in chief Edward Enninful, and more.
